I am pleased to announce that a number of my paintings have been selected for the Singapore Affordable Art Fair this November, where over 65 exhibitors will present an array of original artworks from all over the world.
With this Asian market in mind, the paintings portray birds widely recognisable throughout much of Asia, many of which are also familiar to us here in Europe.
For two of the larger paintings I have adopted a different design strategy and composed the painting with the subject against a simple background - it makes for a striking more contemporary image. I will be interested to see how they are received and if successful I will explore this approach further.
